I've named this sterling silver skull ring "The Keeper". I think of bones as a symbol for resilience - they remain even when all other matter has rotted away, to tell us their stories. The ring has abstract elements at its sides to imitate melting materials and/or decomposing organic matter. Inspired by urban dark fashion, modern-day witchcraft and post-apocalyptic imagery. Hallmarked with "925" for sterling silver. Oxidized for deeper contrast.
Weight: ca. 21 grams
PROCESSING TIME~~~ Rings made to order take 2-3 weeks to make. Why so slow? Well, I’m the sole maker behind the pieces I sell. I make my own designs, carve each master model in jewelers’ wax with great attention to detail (I’m a perfectionist *sigh*), take my wax models to the casters to be poured in silver using lost-wax casting technique, and then touch up (file, oxidize, polish, set gems in) the finished pieces. And *then* we're good to go! Ships in a black cardboard box with logo.
